Method of Payment - A 20% deposit is required at the time your purchase is made. The remaining balance must be paid 14 days prior to your arrival date and can be paid by clicking the "Balance" button on our home page. An e-mail will be sent 17 days prior to your travel date reminding you that this balance is due. Cancellations and Refunds - All deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations must be made 14 days prior to your arrival date. Your deposit can be applied to any future packages booked with Charleston Getaways.com at that time. Any cancellations made within the 14 day period prior to your travel date will be billed at full price. There will be no refunds issued on any unused portions of your travel package. Confirmation - A letter of confirmation will be e-mailed to you within 48 hours of your purchase. This e-mail will include a guaranteed room reservation confirmation number, and an invoice of charges and balance due. Packages - Your initial travel package will be e-mailed within 72 hours of your purchase. This package will contain a welcome letter, a detailed description of your package, a recommended itinerary, information on the participating properties along with their website addresses and telephone numbers. It will also include a list of other recommended activities. Your second package will be over-nighted upon receipt of your final payment, 14 days prior to your travel date. This package will contain personalized gift certificates to each of the participating vendors, final confirmation of your hotel room and travel date, and a receipt of your final payment. Gift Certificates - In order to allow our customers the greatest amount of flexibility and convenience in structuring your time during your getaway, we issue gift certificates for all restaurants, tours, and attractions in your travel package. Gift certificates are issued for the amount deemed appropriate by the establishment to cover the expense of the described activity. Gift certificates can only be redeemed for products and or services, and do not include taxes or gratuities. All gift certificates expire on the last day of your trip and cannot be redeemed for cash or refunded.
